Construction tech that saves our onsite teams from potential health and safety risks and monotonous tasks is an absolute winner as far as we are concerned. Robotics are playing a huge role in the future of construction and this new innovation is no different.
Introducing: The TyBot!
TyBot is a construction technology innovation from Advanced Construction Robotics, developed for the tying of rebar.
The monotonous and repetitive nature of rebar tying over a prolonged period has the potential for very real and harmful health conditions like carpal tunnel. TyBot hopes to alleviate this strain on our onsite workforce.

Not only will this innovation reduce injuries it will save masses of time and in turn, money.
Once set up the TyBot is able to work automatically and autonomously, identifying and tying intersections on its own.
The TyBot has been tested at Beaver County, Pennsylvania, Freedom Bridge project. The project itself had a 5000 square feet bridge deck and around 24000 rebar sections. The TyBot tech was able to tie each one in 5.5 seconds - incredible!
The speed and efficiency at which the Tybot works has the potential to change the lives of onsite builders and save projects vast amounts of money.
According to the founder of ACR, Tybar takes only half a shift to assemble and can fit a bridge between 20-150 ft wide using the existing infrastructure of the bridge.
